As our international presence expands, we are strengthening our finance team by recruiting a full-time Accountant to manage daily tasks in accounts receivable and payable, serve as the Odoo system contact for our international subsidiaries, and support month-end and year-end closing processes. The position is initially fixed-term for one year.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier data records and handle invoice verification and entry within accounts payable.
• Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers and prepare payment processes.
• Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and completeness and liaising with roaming partners to guarantee timely payments.
• Reconcile bank accounts, PayPal, and credit card statements regularly.
• Process expense reports accurately.
• Act as the point of contact for international subsidiaries to enhance their use of the ERP system Odoo and its interfaces.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements and participate in ad-hoc accounting projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completed training as a certified accountant or degree focused on accounting, taxation, or economics (or equivalent qualifications).
• At least three years of professional experience in an accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of German accounting principles (HGB) and VAT regulations.
• Experience using at least one ERP system along with MS Office or equivalent software.
• Customer-focused, approachable, and positive attitude.
• Well-organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and discreet in handling confidential information.
• Flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Eager to learn, take responsibility, and contribute continuously to process improvements supporting company success.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (working language) and German.
