About the Role
Join Atlassian as an Account Executive covering the Mid-Market segment across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), focused on expanding our footprint by managing a portfolio of mid-sized businesses. You'll spearhead cloud-first sales initiatives, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and foster strong client relationships while collaborating with internal and partner teams to ensure customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement territory and account plans to drive revenue growth and expand product use among mid-market clients in the ANZ region.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business deals, alongside nurturing current customer accounts to increase value.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships by understanding customer needs and presenting tailored solutions including demos, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate efforts with Channel Partners, Account Managers, Solution Engineers, and Deal Desk to deliver a unified and effective customer experience.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline updates, and ensure CRM data is current and precise.
- Stay informed on market trends, regional industry developments, and competitor activities within the ANZ mid-market.
- Occasional travel within the ANZ territory for client meetings, events, and team activities.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of five years' experience in quota-driven enterprise software sales with consistent achievement or surpassing of targets.
- Proven success in developing mid-market accounts and closing strategic deals, preferably within ANZ.
- Strong understanding of the ANZ business environment including buying cycles and partner networks.
- Expertise in formulating territory and account plans and leading cross-functional teams toward customer-centric goals.
- Consultative selling skills to uncover and develop new business opportunities.
- Experienced with CRM platforms to monitor sales metrics and drive performance.
- Active contributor to fostering team culture and collaboration.
