Role Summary
We are seeking an Account Executive based in Dublin to spearhead new customer acquisition and growth within our Commercial SMB market segment. This role demands a full sales cycle management—from structured discovery and impactful product demonstrations to guiding complex deals towards successful closings. A proactive outbound approach combined with a strong sense of urgency is essential.
This position requires collaboration with high-level buyers such as CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Product, and Engineering, with a keen understanding of technical workflows involving APIs, developer tools, infrastructure, and AI-driven processes.
Key Achievements and Responsibilities
- Adopt a primarily outbound sales approach by actively generating new leads and accelerating deal momentum.
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle including prospecting, discovery, solution alignment, demos, stakeholder coordination, negotiation, and closure.
- Conduct thorough discovery sessions to identify business goals and technical needs, articulating these into persuasive value propositions.
- Perform live demonstrations paired with customized narratives that assist clients in evaluation and adoption, including recommending workspace architecture, permissions, rollout strategies, and integrations.
- Address and resolve complex commercial criteria such as security, legal considerations, and procurement with cross-departmental support.
- Ensure precise sales forecasting while executing consistently at a rapid pace to reach or surpass quotas.
- Collaborate closely with Solutions, Product, and Marketing teams to relay customer insights that refine our offerings.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Between 1 and 3 years of effective experience in a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role or a related position with direct closing responsibilities.
- Prior experience engaging with technical decision-makers and the ability to translate product features into functional and financial benefits.
- Demonstrated competence in outbound sales with creativity in pipeline building and managing discovery, demo, and closing stages.
- Proven capacity to handle multi-threaded transactions and manage influence across complex organizational structures.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to rapidly assimilate and communicate technical concepts.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI technology, actively utilizing AI tools to enhance personal productivity and understanding AI-enabled work dynamics.
- Fluent in both English and Italian languages.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and experience operating within the MEDIT market to improve commercial strategies, build repeatable processes, and effectively incorporate customer feedback.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience with pricing models based on usage or consumption.
- Background in developer tools, APIs, data infrastructure, or AI products.
- Previous role as an early sales hire within a rapidly growing startup environment.
- Spanish language proficiency.
Compensation and Legal Information
Notion is dedicated to providing competitive cash compensation, equity participation, and benefits. Total on-target earnings for this position, including base and incentive pay, are estimated at approximately €130,000 yearly, subject to role scope, location, and candidate credentials.
