About the internship

This work-from-home internship is for candidates fluent in Odia who can support a transcription project. The task is to carefully listen to Odia audio recordings and turn them into precise written text while following the project’s instructions and formatting rules.

What you'll do

• Review Odia audio clips attentively and convert speech into accurate text.
• Use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence flow in the transcripts.
• Work according to the project’s transcription standards and formatting guidelines.
• Spot sections that are hard to hear, missing words, background noise, or speaker-related issues.
• Deliver assigned work on time while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Keep all audio files and project details confidential.
• Apply quality-check feedback and make revisions whenever needed.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a remote internship, able to begin between 2nd Jul'26 and 6th Aug'26, commit for 2 months, and bring the relevant skills and interest for the role. Candidates should be comfortable working daily from a home setup with a laptop or desktop and a stable internet connection.

Requirements

• Strong command of the Odia language.
• Good typing ability and strong listening skills.
• Basic familiarity with English or Hindi for understanding instructions.
• Careful attention to detail and the discipline to follow guidelines exactly.
• Access to a laptop or desktop and reliable internet.
• Previous transcription experience is an advantage, but freshers may also apply.
• Ability to complete assigned work consistently each day.

Perks and compensation

The internship offers a stipend of ₹7,000 to ₹20,000 per month. The pay structure includes fixed pay of ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 per month plus incentive pay of ₹2,000 to ₹5,000 per month. Additional benefits include a certificate and a letter of recommendation.
