Business Development Intern (Sales)

About the role

This in-office internship is focused on business development for a financial advisory firm that works with corporate lending, debt syndication, capital raising, loan advisory, and surplus fund management. The role is designed for someone who can research prospects, make persuasive outreach calls, and support the team in converting leads into appointments and mandates.

What you will do

• Shortlist potential companies from MCA, Probe42, and datasets shared by the firm.
• Pull out key business details such as balance sheet information, profit and loss data, loan profile, and contact information using MCA and Probe42.
• Make high-volume outreach calls to target companies and arrange meetings to secure mandates.
• Hold the listener’s attention during calls and work toward booking appointments.
• Keep client profile records updated and organized.
• Share daily call logs and appointment progress with the supervisor and help plan the weekly action tracker.

Eligibility and other requirements

Candidates must be available for a full-time, in-office internship, able to begin between 27 June 2026 and 5 August 2026, and available for the full 3-month duration. Compensation and additional details

The internship offers a stipend between INR 20,000 and 32,000 per month. The compensation structure includes a fixed component of ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 per month and an incentive component of ₹10,000 to ₹20,000 per month. Incentives will be clarified during the interview. If performance is not satisfactory or the work ability shown is not up to expectations, the internship can be ended before the scheduled completion date. There is 1 opening for this role.
