Job description
Role Overview
The Workplace Coordinator will perform essential maintenance, cleaning, and administrative tasks vital to supporting the company's core functions across all office locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections and audits at all office sites, including checks for hazardous materials, fire safety, furniture safety, and legionella, collaborating with the Safety and Sustainability team to maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors.
- Deliver both proactive and responsive support across all offices by liaising with internal stakeholders and coordinating with external suppliers to fulfill accommodation and operational needs.
- Serve as the primary onsite contact for colleagues and visitors at St Patrick's House, Cardiff, by attending the site on a rotational schedule to ensure consistent presence.
- Oversee and manage contractors working onsite by performing check-in procedures and issuing permits to verify authorized access.
- Work with new employees to conduct building and health & safety inductions to ensure awareness of safety protocols.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in soft facilities management roles.
- IOSH certification is preferred or willingness to obtain within the first three months of employment.
- Competent with IT, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
- Keen eye for detail and ability to identify and address health and safety concerns.
Additional Information
Welsh language ability is beneficial but not essential. The organization offers support for learning or improving Welsh skills through online and community courses.
