Role Overview
Applications are invited for a Warehouse Operative to join the Warehouse Department in Loughrea.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise concerns about unsafe equipment or unsafe working methods with the Safety Management team and take action to secure the area where appropriate.
- Carry out day-to-day duties in line with ALS procedures and work cooperatively with others.
- Maintain all records required under ISO17025 standards.
- Support the introduction of safety improvements when instructed by management.
- Contribute as an active member of the warehouse team.
- Help with incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery and dispatch logs.
- Support stock count activities.
- Take on additional tasks assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time day-shift position, working 8:30 to 17:00.
Requirements
- Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar operational role is desirable.
- Comfortable using computers.
- Strong spoken and written communication ability.
- Well organised with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Willingness to be flexible with hours and overtime when required.
- A forklift licence and driving experience are preferred.
- HazChem transport training would be beneficial.
