Warehouse Operative - Chill

Role overview

We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join the Magor distribution centre. The environment is busy and time-sensitive, so you’ll need strong accuracy, quick thinking, and the ability to work well with others to make sure customer orders are picked correctly and delivered on schedule. The shift pattern is 5 days out of 7.

Before starting, you must pass a drug and alcohol screening.

Key duties

You’ll handle order preparation and stock movement across the site, keeping accuracy, safety, and efficiency at the centre of everything you do.

• Pick and pack customer orders using a handheld terminal to follow picking instructions.
• Receive stock, then store and stack it in the correct way.
• Work with honesty and care to meet stock and operational requirements.
• Keep the workplace clean, safe, and compliant with health, safety, and legal standards.
• Support operations in areas where LLOPs and FLTs are used, with training provided in suitable parts of the distribution centre.
• Work across ambient, chilled, and freezer areas as needed; exact preferences can be discussed during the process.

What we’re looking for

You’ll need to be adaptable, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-moving warehouse setting. A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are important.

• Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities in a busy environment.
• Hardworking and able to meet deadlines.
• Professional, organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
• Team-oriented, while also able to use your own initiative.
• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, but not required.
