Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Assistant to aid in daily warehouse activities. This role involves receiving, processing, loading, and unloading cargo with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Duties
- Receive and manage incoming cargo shipments.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and shipping containers.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to facilitate cargo movement and storage.
- Manually handle loose cargo when necessary.
- Ensure cargo is handled carefully to avoid damages.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the warehouse.
- Report any damaged goods, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor promptly.
- Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a valid forklift license and experience with both forklifts and reach trucks.
- Physically fit to lift and carry loose cargo effectively.
- Demonstrate responsibility, diligence, and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics environments is advantageous.
Working Schedule and Location
Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, constituting a 5.5-day workweek. The workplace is at the Pioneer area in Singapore, within a warehouse setting.
