Visual Merchandiser

About the role

Louis Vuitton, part of the LVMH group, is looking for a Visual Merchandiser to join its Melbourne team. The role focuses on maintaining the brand’s luxury presentation standards across stores in the network, with a strong balance of creativity and commercial awareness. This position suits someone who enjoys variety, works independently, and can help translate the house vision into polished retail environments.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate window installations with head office and local suppliers.
• Oversee product changes for each window rotation.
• Plan, prepare, and carry out regular store zoning and merchandising rotations.
• Handle product presentation and placement across interior displays.
• Share written, visual, and photographic feedback on store execution.
• Visit competitor stores and report useful merchandising ideas and best practices.
• Work with the store leadership team on sales trends, new launches, and visual merchandising direction.
• Set up store zones for each product category.
• Deliver visual concepts for store events and activations.
• Carry out routine checks to ensure the store environment and maintenance meet luxury retail standards.
• Arrange replenishment of props, lighting, and visual merchandising tools when needed.
• Make sure all products are displayed in line with Louis Vuitton standards.

What we’re looking for

• Substantial experience in visual merchandising, ideally within a luxury or high-profile retail setting.
• Practical background in ready-to-wear, accessories, and window presentation.
• Strong focus on deadlines and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities.
