The agency is experiencing rapid growth and aims to become a leading social agency in the UK, US, and beyond by 2026.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Videographer for a 7-month fixed-term contract to join our in-house production squad, producing football-centric social content throughout the English Football League (EFL) season. The role requires traveling to various EFL clubs across the UK, creating engaging social-first videos showcasing players, teams, and club settings. While filming will be involved, the bulk of the work focuses on video editing and post-production.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot high-quality social media content at EFL club locations across the UK.
- Edit short-form videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with an emphasis on editing tasks.
- Collaborate closely with producers, creatives, and other videographers to realize ideas, scripts, and storyboards.
- Direct players and contributors to foster a relaxed atmosphere and capture authentic and engaging footage.
- Create various content types including interviews, challenges, behind-the-scenes clips, and campaign videos.
- Enhance videos using captions, graphic elements, music, and sound design to make content platform-ready.
- Organize and manage footage, project files, and media workflows efficiently.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high creative and technical standards and meeting deadlines.
- Identify additional content creation opportunities and creative edits from each shoot.
- Assist with the setup, preparation, and upkeep of camera, lighting, and audio gear.
- Travel regularly within the UK, which includes early mornings, late evenings, overnight stays about 3 to 4 times monthly, and occasional weekend shoots.
- Stay current with the latest social media trends, editing methods, and video production best practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing social-first content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects is advantageous.
- Ability to film using both smartphones and professional cameras such as Sony FX3 or equivalents.
- Comprehensive understanding of lighting, camera handling, composition, and audio recording techniques.
- Talent for transforming creative ideas into compelling, platform-optimized videos with attention to pacing, current trends, and storytelling.
- Comfortable in fast-paced settings, managing multiple projects, and adapting to evolving priorities.
- Strong independent work capabilities as well as teamwork skills.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with contributors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the UK.
- Experience producing sports content, especially football or working with professional athletes, is highly preferred.
- Passion for social media, emerging content trends, and football culture.
Benefits and Work Conditions
- Competitive salary aligned with experience and salary bands.
- Hybrid working model: three days in office and two days remote.
- 25 days of annual leave.
- Opportunity to work remotely from any location for two weeks annually.
- Birthday day off to celebrate personally.
- Wellbeing day off plus £50 voucher to support personal wellbeing.
- Free breakfast, snacks, and beverages available onsite.
- Additional perks including private healthcare, cycle to work scheme, tech scheme, and more.
- Regular team socials including weekly meetups, book club, and social club activities.
- Dog-friendly office environment.
