About the Organisation and Role

Our client is a prominent global professional services firm operating in a highly competitive and talent-centric sector. The company spans operations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Asia, and Australia/New Zealand, focusing on improving processes, governance, job architecture, and leveraging data-driven insights to underpin its long-term business goals.

Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Rewards, the Vice President of Total Rewards for Asia will act as the chief regional leader and trusted advisor on reward-related matters. This individual will collaborate closely with HR leaders and business executives across multiple markets in Asia, providing expert guidance on compensation frameworks, incentive program design, market trend analysis, and reward strategies. The role demands a blend of deep technical rewards expertise with strong influencing skills to engage senior stakeholders, work autonomously, and deliver practical, actionable solutions within a dynamic and evolving corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all reward activities across the Asian region as the subject matter expert on compensation and benefits.
  • Oversee annual compensation review cycles, ensuring competitive salary benchmarking and appropriateness in line with market standards.
  • Administer incentive schemes, including short-term and long-term incentive programs, ensuring sound governance and comprehensive documentation.
  • Conduct detailed reward analytics, scenario modeling, and workforce simulations to support informed decision making.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to provide insights on market dynamics and advise on reward implications across various Asian jurisdictions.
  • Contribute to wider people initiatives such as organizational design, job architecture review, and strategies geared towards talent retention.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • 10 to 15 years of extensive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefits, or related domains within multinational corporations.
  • Proven track record managing reward programs across multiple Asian markets.
  • Strong expertise in compensation structure design, salary benchmarking, incentive and long-term incentive programs, and reward analytics.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing abilities with senior HR and business leaders.
  • High commercial acumen coupled with intellectual curiosity and rigorous analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate complex compensation data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proactive, resourceful, hands-on mindset comfortable with ambiguity and adept at driving results in fast-moving global environments.
