Role Overview

This is a senior leadership position responsible for Gallagher’s cloud offering as one integrated value stream. The role brings together strategy, service delivery, operations, reliability, and the commercial structure that supports customer-facing cloud services.

You will lead three direct reports and help strengthen the capability, architecture, and operating cadence needed to scale cloud-based services with confidence.

Working closely with product, architecture, security, commercial, support, and partner teams, you will help ensure the cloud services are dependable today, commercially healthy, and ready to evolve with future customer needs.

Key Priorities

• Define the strategy for Cloud Services and make sure it aligns with product direction, security priorities, and Gallagher’s wider cloud strategy.
• Take ownership of the financial performance of subscription services, including recurring revenue, retention, delivery cost, and cloud operating spend.
• Improve operational maturity across uptime, performance, protection, monitoring, incident preparedness, and cost transparency.
• Influence decisions around data residency, hosting approaches, cloud partnerships, and future service capabilities.

About You

You are a technology, service delivery, or software leadership professional who can balance strategy, commercial judgement, operational stability, customer expectations, and people leadership in a cloud environment.

This position is based in Hamilton and offers hybrid working, with around three days each week in the office while collaborating with global teams as required.

Experience and Capabilities

• At least 5 years of experience leading software delivery or service-oriented teams, preferably in cloud-hosted or SaaS environments.
• Working knowledge of cloud service operations, including availability, security, data residency, cost control, and shared infrastructure risk.
• Solid commercial awareness, with experience leading transformation, change initiatives, or operating model improvement.
• A collaborative, systems-based leadership approach with the ability to develop people and make complex problems easier to understand.
