Valet / Laundry Attendant

Role overview

This position supports housekeeping and laundry operations at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Lusail, Qatar. The job is focused on guest assistance, laundry handling, and maintaining smooth, orderly service in a hospitality environment.

Key duties

• Welcome guests on arrival and help them unload their belongings safely.
• Deliver cleaned laundry to guest rooms in a timely and careful manner.
• Work efficiently while keeping tasks neat, organized, and well-controlled.
• Provide prompt support for guest requests, Front Office needs, and requests from the At Your Service team.
• Inspect laundry equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and proper operating condition.
• Coordinate repairs with the appropriate people and collect items once the work is completed for delivery.
• Monitor and maintain an adequate supply of laundry chemicals, products, and related materials.
• Carry out other reasonable work assignments requested by supervisors.

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods as required.
• Take on other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors.

Education and experience

A high school diploma or an equivalent GED qualification is preferred. At least 1 year of related work experience is required. Prior supervisory experience is not necessary, and no license or certification is needed.
