Overview

Openverse is looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to craft engaging and user-friendly interfaces for its Web3 applications. This role focuses on building intuitive experiences for blockchain technology and decentralized systems, impacting how users interact with these platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design user interfaces for Web3 applications including decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, NFT marketplaces, and governance systems.
Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts.
Develop seamless user flows that simplify complex blockchain-related interactions.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are practical and well implemented.
Perform user research and usability testing to guide design improvements.
Establish and maintain comprehensive design systems for uniform user experience across products.
Keep abreast of emerging trends and best practices in Web3 design and user experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline.
Minimum of three years' experience in UI/UX design, preferably within technology or fintech sectors.
Strong portfolio showcasing thorough design process and effective problem-solving abilities.
Expertise with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience designing responsive interfaces for both web and mobile platforms.
Understanding of blockchain principles and decentralized application functionalities.
Knowledge of design systems and component-driven design methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining design choices clearly.
Experience working within agile teams, especially in remote work settings.

Location

This position is remote but affiliated with the Chiasson Office in New Brunswick, Canada.
