Job description
Role Overview
Up Albania is seeking a dedicated Travel Advisor to join our expanding team in Tirana. This full-time, office-based position involves occasional travel and focuses on creating exceptional travel experiences in Albania and the Western Balkans.
Core Duties
- Handle travel inquiries received through various channels including email, WhatsApp, and phone by understanding client needs to suggest appropriate tours in Albania and the neighboring Western Balkans countries.
- Draft tailored tour offers, price quotes, and prepare essential travel documents for clients.
- Collaborate with accommodation providers, transport services, guides, and local partners to manage booking logistics effectively.
- Establish and maintain excellent client relationships to ensure superior service throughout the travel journey.
- Coordinate with the Operations team to guarantee seamless tour execution.
Candidate Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Albania’s tourist attractions, with familiarity of Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and other Western Balkans regions desired.
- Previous work experience in Albania’s tourism sector, especially as a Travel Advisor, Tour Guide, or Tour Manager, or similar roles.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- Exceptional interpersonal, sales, and customer service capabilities.
- Organized, attentive to detail, and proactive in approach.
- Proficiency in digital tools including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, AI applications and effective online research techniques.
