Technical Consultant, SAP - ABAP/Integration

Job Overview

The role involves developing and integrating SAP ABAP solutions seamlessly with SAP SuccessFactors to streamline human capital management processes across the organization. It requires providing expert-level technical knowledge in ABAP programming, SAP SuccessFactors integration, and interfacing across various SAP modules. Close collaboration with functional teams and stakeholders is essential to deliver secure, robust, and scalable SAP solutions that optimize HR functionality and overall system efficacy.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain tailored ABAP reports, programs, workflows, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and forms including SAP SmartForms and Adobe Forms.
• Lead and manage integrations between SuccessFactors and SAP ECC/S/4HANA platforms utilizing SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and native APIs ensuring data uniformity and integrity.
• Architect and maintain connections for payroll, recruitment, employee data, and performance management solutions.
• Plan and execute integration processes between SuccessFactors, SAP ERP, and external systems such as payroll services, time management, and job posting platforms.
• Handle data mapping, transformation, validation routines, and establish integration design standards aligned with scalability and performance goals.
• Develop and supervise interfaces employing IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and SOAP/REST web services, including proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
• Conduct performance optimizations on ABAP developments to improve response times and reduce system errors and downtime.
• Collaborate closely with SAP functional consultants from HR and Finance to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions and document related business and technical requirements.
• Create and facilitate training sessions for end-users and maintain detailed technical and functional manuals and guides.
• Offer ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for ABAP codes and integrations, identifying root causes and acting as the primary escalation point.
• Lead projects involving ABAP and SuccessFactors integration, including supporting system upgrades, compatibility checks, change management, and version control processes.
• Contribute to defining and maintaining IT policies, systems, and procedural consistency governing SAP operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
• Preferably hold SAP ABAP and SAP SuccessFactors certifications.
• Between five to seven years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development, SuccessFactors, and CPI configuration and support.

Language Skills

• Proficient working knowledge of Arabic.
• Proficient working knowledge of English.
