Team Leader - Production

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised Team Leader to manage daily production operations, ensuring seamless workflows, optimal performance, and a secure working environment.

Role Summary

As an integral part of our operations team, you will supervise a group of Operators and coordinate valve production to fulfill customer requirements, reduce backlog, and uphold quality standards. Collaboration with Planning and Purchasing teams is essential to guarantee timely availability of parts for uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Operators to meet daily performance goals.
• Oversee production activities aligned with customer demand and backlog priorities.
• Coordinate with internal Planning and Purchasing departments to secure on-time parts delivery.
• Maintain precise build and test documentation to ensure smooth internal procedures.
• Utilize data-driven metrics including daily SQDCP reporting to support informed decision-making.
• Participate actively in tier meetings, facilitating problem-solving and process optimization.
• Enforce 5S housekeeping principles to maintain an organised and efficient workplace.
• Drive efficiency enhancements and resolve issues related to design, infrastructure, or processes.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and foster a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with fellow Team Leaders and the Health & Safety Manager to address safety concerns.
• Adapt responsibilities in response to evolving business needs.

• Practical knowledge and application of health and safety standards.
