Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to navigate the evolving landscape of talent acquisition. This position goes beyond traditional recruitment by focusing on building robust talent communities, fostering exceptional candidate experiences, and engaging with high-caliber candidates well before vacancies arise. Expertise in talent pipelining, employer branding, market mapping, and leveraging data for informed hiring decisions is essential.
The selected candidate will collaborate with business leaders across New Zealand and the wider APAC region, overseeing complete recruitment processes while driving innovative sourcing and attraction tactics that yield excellent hiring results.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process across a wide range of roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and leaders to gauge workforce requirements and develop tailored hiring strategies.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines aligned with present and future hiring demands.
- Actively source and engage passive candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels.
- Ensure an outstanding candidate experience that aligns with our values and enhances our employer brand.
- Use recruitment analytics and insights to influence hiring outcomes and improve strategies.
- Champion employer branding initiatives to bolster market presence and attract premier talent.
- Perform talent mapping and gather market intelligence to pinpoint critical talent pools.
- Maintain a recruitment process that is consistent, inclusive, and compliant with relevant standards.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition teams globally, sharing knowledge and contributing to strategic initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle talent acquisition either internally or at an agency.
- Proven sourcing and headhunting skills across diverse talent categories.
- Experience in cultivating talent pipelines and engaging with passive candidates.
- Ability to build and nurture strong partnerships with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and advisory capabilities.
- Data-oriented mindset with a track record of using recruitment metrics to guide decision-making.
- Familiarity with recruitment systems such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Workday Recruiting.
- Strong organizational skills capable of handling multiple simultaneous recruitment requests.
