Role overview
This position is based in Gurugram and reports to the TA Lead. The role sits within Airtel’s digital transformation journey, supporting hiring for cloud, AI, data, and next-generation technology platforms that serve consumer and enterprise products at scale.
What you will do
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role expectations, and team objectives in detail.
- Identify and engage strong technical talent using a mix of sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, referrals, and other creative methods.
- Handle the complete recruitment flow, starting from job briefing through to offer acceptance, while keeping the candidate journey smooth and positive.
- Create and roll out scalable hiring plans and sourcing drives to support both immediate and future workforce requirements.
- Run early-stage candidate evaluations, carry out technical screening, assess fit, and arrange interviews with the right stakeholders.
- Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the hiring process through clear and consistent communication.
- Share hiring data, market trends, and recruitment insights with internal teams and leadership to support decisions.
- Develop and nurture a strong pipeline of talent for niche, critical, and difficult-to-fill roles.
- Coordinate with HR and hiring managers to ensure onboarding moves forward without friction.
- Stay current on industry shifts, technical skill sets, and hiring trends across target locations.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in technical recruitment, ideally in product-led or consumer internet organizations.
- Strong knowledge of technology roles such as backend, frontend, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and product functions, along with the related tech stacks.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, and similar resources.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfort with recruitment analytics and the ability to use data to improve hiring outcomes and process efficiency.
- Experience managing large-scale hiring in fast-moving global environments.
- Ability to own recruitment work independently and deliver against tight timelines.
