Graduate Programme Overview

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sustainability Team in developing and implementing the "Our Planet, Our Duty" sustainability strategy.
  • Manage ESG data collection and compliance, liaising with suppliers as required.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of Mercury’s ESG data and reporting initiatives, including goal setting and prioritization.
  • Compare Mercury’s sustainability objectives with industry leaders across clients, competitors, and investors.
  • Support the preparation of CDP, Ecovadis, and Sustainability Reports aligned with CSRD and GRI standards.
  • Coordinate data and timelines for bids, tenders, and supplier requests.
  • Collaborate with Sustainability and Sales teams to produce clear, client-aligned content for prequalification and tender processes.
  • Identify and raise awareness of ESG-related risks, opportunities, and trends impacting the business.
  • Ensure that all initiatives under "Our Planet, Our Duty" align clearly with the ESG framework and track their progress effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Company, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Preferably possess or expect a 2:1 level honor in a Bachelor’s degree (Level 8 or equivalent).
  • Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Be adaptable, proactive in problem-solving, and able to collaborate within teams.
  • Take pride in delivering high-quality work with excellent presentation.
  • Demonstrate good coordination capabilities and willingness to travel.
  • Show enthusiasm and energetic participation in role duties.
