Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Surface Reinstatement Technician/Labourer to join our Christchurch crew. This hands-on role ensures the restoration of surfaces to project standards, while also offering chances to gain new skills related to fiber telecommunications work.
Key Responsibilities
- Restoring surfaces with materials such as topsoil, grass, concrete, and asphalt to specified quality standards.
- Executing reinstatement tasks aligned with project requirements.
- Assisting telecommunication teams and gaining experience in fiber-related activities as necessary.
- Utilizing powered machinery, hand tools, and company vehicles safely and effectively.
- Contributing to general labour duties to support the team.
- Adhering to Civtec's safety, environmental, and wellbeing protocols daily.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working with turf, asphalt, and concrete restoration.
- Demonstrated reliability and a solid work ethic valued by team members.
- Physical fitness appropriate for manual labour throughout full shifts.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and clearance of pre-employment screening.
