Role Overview

We are assembling a qualified team of care workers to assist a client in Wayville throughout the week. Your role will involve aiding the client in maintaining independence and safety within their home and the community. This position requires hands-on assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and fostering meaningful connections as outlined by individualized care plans, supported by our administrative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support with personal care tasks such as showering and dressing, as well as offering social support and assistance with everyday activities around the home.
  • Perform light domestic duties including mopping, vacuuming, and general cleaning.
  • Report any observations or issues promptly to care coordinators.
  • Establish and maintain respectful and professional relationships with clients.

Work Details

Location: Wayville

Shift schedule: Available seven days a week, from 10am to midnight.

Contract flexibility: Options to discuss permanent or casual employment.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is compassionate, with a genuine passion for supporting others and practical experience in community support roles. Excellent communication skills and professionalism in client interactions are essential.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or an equivalent qualification in aged care or disability services.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Manual handling certification.
  • Infection control training.
  • Valid driver's license along with access to a registered, roadworthy, and comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
