Position Overview

The Supply Chain Specialist acts as the crucial communication link between the Supply Chain department and Project Management teams handling lottery customer contracts. This role manages supply chain activities throughout all product lifecycle stages including Production Verification Testing, New Product Introduction, demand forecasting, product configuration, and spare parts planning. They represent supply chain interests across customer and product projects, ensure coordination among departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales, and oversee readiness for product launches and contract obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Project Supply Chain Master File and oversee product configuration with spare parts lifecycle support alongside cross-functional coordination.
• Create and maintain demand forecasts, analyze trends, monitor forecast precision, and assist inventory optimization efforts.
• Ensure conformity to approved product configurations and engineering change protocols, evaluating supply chain consequences and maintaining Bill of Materials integrity.
• Develop spare parts planning strategies, set inventory targets, track usage and obsolescence risks, and support lifecycle planning.
• Conduct supply chain risk analyses and formulate mitigation plans to minimize disruptions and secure supply continuity.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives by regularly reviewing sourcing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with operational, engineering, legal, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams to align sourcing strategies with company objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of three years experience in global supply chain functions.
• Proven negotiation capabilities focused on cost reduction and favorable contractual terms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills utilizing data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal attributes.
• Familiarity with procurement technologies such as eSourcing, eProcurement, and Spend Analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry-recognized certification like Certified Supply Chain Professional or equivalent.

Working Conditions

• Full-time role based in Alpharetta, GA.
• May require occasional travel for supplier engagements, conferences, or training.
• Flexibility in work hours might be necessary to accommodate different time zones or urgent procurement demands.
