About the Role
Ferrero seeks a dedicated Supply Chain Development Data Analyst to enhance continuous improvement, performance oversight, and analytical competency within the UK & Ireland Supply Chain division. This central position offers visibility across multiple areas including Demand & Supply Planning, Commercial and Industrial Logistics, Customer Services, Co-Packing, Product Flow Management, and Continuous Improvement efforts. Acting as a strategic analytical partner, the analyst will distill complex data into actionable insights to support informed decision-making and elevate operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves managing and refining data analytics programs, uncovering enhancement opportunities, and setting coherent priorities. You will integrate and verify data spanning various Supply Chain segments, fostering data-driven decisions. Duties also include bolstering data quality, governance, and compliance with reporting protocols, as well as empowering colleagues to build analytics proficiency.
Additional mandates include advancing Supply Chain performance reporting with accurate KPI and operational metrics consolidation and analysis, enabling teams to leverage data through trend identification, root cause evaluation, and risk spotting. You will create and sustain reporting dashboards and analytical solutions using Power BI and Excel, striving for automation and efficiency gains.
Collaboration with leadership and teams will facilitate performance review meetings, strategic projects, and business enhancements, underpinned by solid analysis, modeling, and outcome tracking. Supporting data governance initiatives ensures consistency and integrity across metrics and analytic frameworks.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, FMCG, or Retail sectors focusing on data analysis to aid operational or strategic choices. Proficiency in advanced Excel and visualization tools such as Power BI is required, along with comfort managing large, complex datasets and translating data analyses into business actions.
Strong investigative and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management are essential to drive improvements. Experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean, Operational Excellence, or similar initiatives is highly advantageous, as is a mindset geared towards fostering innovative reporting and data use.
