Mitre 10 MEGA Hamilton is preparing for the peak summer period and seeking enthusiastic, customer-oriented individuals to join multiple departments. Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide excellent service across various departments including Gardens, Fill, Customer Service Desk (CSD), and Loss Prevention.
• Work assigned fixed shifts during the contract period with possible additional shift opportunities.
• Contribute as part of a supportive team, participating in the training provided.

Candidate Requirements

• Able to attend the recruitment event or participate in a prompt online interview if outside Waikato.
• Available for weekend work, as every shift roster includes at least one weekend day.
• Committed to working the majority of days from December 15, 2026, through January 4, 2027, the busy summer season.
• Flexible to work in different departments as seasonal staffing needs require.

Recruitment Process

Recruitment may proceed in two phases to accommodate staffing needs:

• Phase 1 (Early September to Mid-January): Recruitment night on August 26, 2026, at the Te Rapa store, followed by induction starting September 15, 2026. Roles include Gardens, Fill, CSD, and Loss Prevention, ideal for those available early and seeking trained roles.
• Phase 2 (If needed): Recruitment and induction details to be shared with shortlisted candidates interested in mid-November to mid-January positions. Roles include General Sales Assistants, Fill, and Checkout staff.
