Your Role as a Study Overseas Counsellor

The Study Overseas Counsellor will serve as a vital guide for students aspiring to study abroad. The role requires evaluating student eligibility, understanding their academic goals, and assisting in securing admissions at international universities. Acting as a dependable advisor, you will help students and their families confidently navigate the complex procedures involved in overseas education applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer specialized counselling tailored to students' eligibility and academic ambitions.
• Comprehend student needs and expectations to facilitate admission processes at global universities.
• Engage with students and their parents through face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, or emails to provide guidance on university choices and application submission.
• Ensure responses to student inquiries are provided within 24 working hours, delivering thorough and accurate information.
• Maintain communication with students by conducting regular follow-ups via email and phone to keep them engaged and supported.
• Stay informed about current international education trends and changes in admission procedures.
• Follow Y-Axis established systems, procedures, and protocols to guarantee service quality and uniformity.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in any academic discipline.
• Have at least 2 years of prior experience in overseas education counselling, student advisement, or career counselling roles.
• Demonstrate strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and attentive listening skills.
• Be capable of conveying information clearly and succinctly to students and their families.
• Exhibit a sales-focused and target-oriented approach.
• Maintain a positive and outgoing personality with a passion for aiding students in their international ambitions.
• Excel at relationship management and display effective teamwork skills.
• Be proficient with computer usage, CRM software, and online platforms.
