Stock Unloader Associate

Job Summary

Joining Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate offers an excellent opportunity to develop valuable retail industry skills. This role involves assisting with unloading delivery trailers, sorting merchandise, transferring pallets to the sales floor, all while ensuring a safe workplace and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and reset the Receiving Area for incoming shipments
• Unload and organize merchandise from general merchandise trailers
• Carry out live unloading tasks for all incoming merchandise
• Maintain temperature control for refrigerated and frozen goods during receiving and stocking
• Transport pallets of products to the sales floor for overnight processing
• Help stock the sales floor as directed and assist customers when necessary
• Label and arrange overstock inventory appropriately
• Promote a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring fixtures and displays remain secure

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.05 CAD.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
