Sr. Sales Operations Officer - LNG Trading

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for providing comprehensive commercial, logistical, and administrative support for LNG trading activities, ensuring all contractual and charter party commitments are professionally fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with traders to enhance profitability by leveraging economic insights and optimization techniques, while safeguarding against profit reduction from contract flexibilities and supply options.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in commercial operations, with at least 2 years specializing in LNG operations within leading International Oil Companies, National Oil Companies, or reputable trading firms.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory; additional languages such as Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, or Korean are beneficial.
• Diverse expertise covering trading, risk management, sales operations, commercial functions, financial matters, contract administration, legal aspects, economic analysis, and project involvement.
• Proven track record in sales management and commercial operational roles, including managing client relationships effectively.
• Strong negotiation capabilities coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled in managing relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Solid computer literacy with practical knowledge of Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) systems.
• Good understanding of international competition and anti-trust regulations, freight agreements, and shipping relevant to LNG trading while maintaining high personal integrity.

Educational Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Economics, Law, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university is required. Advanced degrees such as an MSc or MBA are preferred.
