Role Summary
We seek a passionate and imaginative Social Media Executive to enhance our Marketing, Product & Commercial team. This position involves developing and executing social media strategies to enhance the Inspire brand, foster audience engagement, and advance commercial goals.
Collaboration across departments will be key as you generate captivating content, track industry developments, and pinpoint new avenues to expand our digital footprint. You will ensure that all social media operations align with client demands, boost brand recognition, and promote our offerings across optimal channels.
In an ever-changing digital realm, you will proactively monitor emerging trends, adapt to shifting priorities, and highlight opportunities for Inspire to remain a leader in the travel sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute social media strategies for all pertinent platforms.
- Create and curate diverse content—written, video, and images—for B2C, B2B, and internal social media groups.
- Oversee Inspire's online communities to encourage interaction, conversations, and brand loyalty.
- Analyze social media success metrics and offer frequent insights and suggestions.
- Design, implement, and refine social media campaigns aligned with business aims.
- Conduct one-on-one sessions with Independent Travel Advisors to support their social media plans and content creation for growth.
- Perform competitor analyses and report on pricing, presentation, and promotional activities.
- Produce digital graphics and documents adhering to brand standards for Inspire and ITAs.
- Monitor social media return on investment and deliver weekly or monthly performance updates.
- Ensure brand voice consistency across all social platforms.
- Utilize social media scheduling and analytics tools for content scheduling and performance tracking.
- Lead training sessions to assist Independent Travel Advisors in effective social media use.
- Carry out other job-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in the travel sector is advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Proficiency with creative and design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills with confidence to engage cross-functionally.
- Excellent written and oral communication, attention to detail, and maintaining brand coherence.
- Analytical expertise to assess performance data and act on insights.
- Comprehensive understanding of social media algorithms, analytics, and best practices for audience growth.
- Experience in managing social media including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
- Exceptional organizational skills with effective time management and prioritization capabilities.
- Proven initiative to manage projects from concept through completion.
