Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Site & Community Engagement Coordinator to represent Meridian locally across its North Island renewable energy assets. In this position, you will serve as the key liaison connecting our energy sites, surrounding communities, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include facilitating asset visits, managing stakeholder engagement initiatives, coordinating community events, and supporting programs such as Power Up. Close collaboration with the Iwi & Community Relationships Manager and Land & Farming Relationships Manager will be vital to ensure smooth daily operations and strengthen local relationships. Expect to travel around various locations in the mid to upper North Island, with some occasional work outside normal hours.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be highly organised and personable, excelling in fast-paced, varied environments. You should have experience or a strong interest in coordinating events and fostering positive community and stakeholder relationships. Cultural awareness or a readiness to develop cultural competence is essential. Confidence using Microsoft 365 and other technology platforms is expected. We value individuals who are proactive, collaborative, and dedicated to contributing positively to Meridian's mission of clean energy and community engagement.
