Site Agent

About the Role

This role involves overseeing project delivery from a construction standpoint, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget, prioritizing health and safety, compliance, documentation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects in both urban and rural settings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their representatives to foster relationships and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Thoroughly review and adjust drawings based on feedback.
• Lead the project site team with strong leadership skills.
• Coordinate with Contracts Manager and other Site Agents to allocate resources and manage workloads.
• Meet and exceed customer expectations while building trust and confidence.
• Continuously assess and improve project processes.
• Implement innovative technology solutions to streamline services and delivery.
• Mentor junior designers and identify their training needs.
• Monitor site progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Oversee material delivery and manage any discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, safety laws, and other legal regulations.
• Manage on-site traffic control and maintain health and safety, including conducting safety inspections.
• Coordinate with local authorities on footway condition inspections before and after work.
• Work with the workflow department to schedule and program tasks.
• Provide clients with project status updates and act as primary contact for public and subcontractors.
• Handle customer complaints about work professionally.
• Collaborate with clients to maximize infrastructure value.
• Ensure quality control of all works.
• Efficiently complete administrative duties.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full, clean driver's license.
• Engineering qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in civil engineering, specifically road projects.
• Ability to read and interpret designs accurately.
• Commercial awareness regarding project costs.
• Experience managing site activities and multiple teams.
• Sound understanding of HSQE standards.
• Knowledge of ground support systems.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Motivated, confident, and comfortable working independently or collaboratively.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
• Strong time management skills to accomplish goals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
• Demonstrates integrity and respects confidentiality and privacy.
