Senior Technician

Position Overview

The role of Senior Technician involves conducting thorough roadworthiness inspections on vehicles, ensuring strict adherence to Land Transport Authority (LTA) standards and regulations. The technician will also perform regular upkeep and repairs of testing lane equipment and maintain a clean and efficient working environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute vehicle roadworthiness inspections in compliance with LTA standards and guidelines.
• Carry out monthly maintenance and repairs on test lane equipment.
• Perform daily inspections, maintenance tasks, and housekeeping of testing lanes and their environments.
• Undertake assigned duties as directed by supervisors or management.
• Available for shift work schedules, including overtime on Saturdays and trial runs as necessary.
• Adapt to assignments at various work locations when required.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by superiors.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a valid local Class 3 driving license; possession of a Class 2B license is an added advantage.
• Possess at least NTC 2 or 3 certification in automotive mechanics, Nitec in Automotive Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate teamwork capabilities, maintain a positive attitude, and exhibit willingness to learn and adapt.
• Capable of working shift duties and willing to do overtime on Saturdays when required.
