Senior Software Engineer / SME – Oracle ASAP, UIM & CI/CD

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer / Subject Matter Expert with over 8 to 10 years of extensive experience specializing in Oracle ASAP, Oracle UIM, and implementing CI/CD pipelines in the telecommunications sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Oracle ASAP (version 7.x) and UIM (versions 7.4.x/8) solutions.
• Manage ASAP and UIM installation, upgrades, configuration, and data migration activities within live production environments.
• Create and sustain ASAP and UIM cartridges utilizing Oracle Design Studio.
• Diagnose and resolve provisioning, inventory, and integration issues across telecom platforms.
• Develop and oversee CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Docker, Harbor, and Kubernetes.
• Automate processes related to build, deployment, and infrastructure management.
• Provide support for WebLogic server administration, including tuning, scaling, and applying patches.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and stable platform performance.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in developing and upgrading Oracle ASAP cartridges.
• Competency in Oracle UIM cartridge development and customization using APIs and web services.
• Strong skills with Oracle Design Studio.
• Practical knowledge in telecom provisioning, especially with network elements such as Nokia.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP web services, Oracle PL/SQL, and SQL.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and Shell scripting (Bash).
• Hands-on use of Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, and Harbor.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, performance optimization, and documentation capabilities.
• Familiarity with telecom domains including GSM, Voice, Data, DSL, and VoIP technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Understanding of TMF/eTOM frameworks, SID model, and Oracle RODOD/RSDOD.
• Experience in WebLogic server administration and clustered environment deployments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD security best practices, compliance standards, and pipeline-as-code methodologies.
