Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team in Hyderabad (hybrid working). The successful candidate will contribute to backend development for our event engine, working extensively with message brokers. Key technologies include .NET Core, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and relational databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications utilizing Azure App Service with features like scaling, deployment slots, and managed identity.
• Create serverless functions using Azure Functions triggered by HTTP, timers, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Blob storage; experience with durable functions preferred.
• Implement messaging solutions via Azure Service Bus with queues, topics, subscriptions, dead-letter queues, and retry strategies.
• Integrate event-driven systems through Azure Event Grid including custom topics and event sources interacting with Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
• Manage and secure APIs using Azure API Management, handling policies, authentication, rate limits, and caching.
• Utilize Azure Storage services such as Blob, Table, Queue, and File, incorporating SAS token management, soft delete, and versioning.
• Safeguard secrets and certificates using Azure Key Vault with RBAC, access policies, and managed identities.
• Optionally, design data solutions with Azure Cosmos DB using SQL or Mongo APIs.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with the azurerm provider, overseeing state management and workflows like Plan, Validate, and Apply.
• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Core, and REST API standards.
• Efficiently perform data operations with LINQ and Entity Framework.
• Deploy scalable and secure applications to Azure cloud environments.
• Adopt Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and propose optimized solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience (6-11 years) as a software developer specializing in C#, MVC, and .NET Core.
• Strong expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs, including authentication and serialization techniques.
• Practical knowledge of LINQ and Entity Framework for optimized data access and manipulation.
• Advanced skills in Azure services including App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management, Storage, and Key Vault.
• Proficient with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code deployments.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React for frontend development.
• Background in architectural design and establishing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Test Automation is a plus.
