Role Overview
Plex Group is looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and upkeep of scalable web applications. This pivotal position involves delivering technical guidance to the team and engaging in complex problem-solving across FinTech, Payment Gateway, ERP, CRM, HRMS, and Quick Commerce domains.
Key Duties
- Create, test, and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications.
- Develop secure, reusable backend services and APIs.
- Build responsive front-end interfaces using up-to-date JavaScript frameworks.
- Enhance application performance, scalability, and security features.
- Produce clean, well-documented code adhering to industry standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee code quality through reviews.
- Support architectural planning and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, UI/UX, Product, and DevOps teams.
- Engage in agile practices including sprint planning and estimations.
- Develop and improve ERP, CRM, HRMS, Payment Gateway, and internal systems.
- Handle RESTful API development and integrate third-party services.
- Manage authentication, payment processing, notifications, and reporting modules.
- Assist with cloud deployments and production releases.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize database and app efficiency.
- Ensure secure coding and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain version control and deployment documentation.
Required Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in PHP using the Laravel framework.
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django or FastAPI preferred.
- Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks like React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience in REST API design and development.
- Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
- Version control expertise with Git and GitHub.
- Basic understanding of Linux server operations.
- Exposure to Docker and queue management with Redis preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Preferred Experience Areas
- Developing FinTech and Payment Gateway applications.
- ERP, CRM, and HRMS software development.
- E-commerce or Quick Commerce platform experience.
- Microservices architecture implementation.

Educational & Professional Background
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, B.Tech or related fields with 4 to 6 years of software development experience, including enterprise application exposure. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities alongside leadership aptitude are required.
Additional Desired Skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services.
- Knowledge of Docker containers, automated CI/CD workflows, and DevOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development processes.

Compensation & Benefits
The role offers a monthly salary ranging from ₹35,000 to ₹40,000 plus performance incentives. Other benefits include cell phone and internet reimbursements, flexible scheduling, paid sick leave and vacation time, and Provident Fund contributions.
