Responsibilities

Build and update 3D CAD models as well as 2D manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks 2023/2025.
Develop component-level and assembly-level designs that align with engineering norms and customer expectations.
Use GD&T principles and tolerance stack-up methods to support manufacturability and product quality.
Carry out basic engineering calculations connected to mechanical design and product verification.
Contribute to design reviews, engineering change requests, and product enhancement efforts.
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and project management teams.
Keep design records complete, precise, and aligned with internal documentation standards.
Take part in Agile practices, including sprint planning and technical discussions.
Own assigned work with a strong focus on quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Hands-on proficiency with SolidWorks 2023/2025.
Strong capability in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing preparation.
Clear understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Practical experience with tolerance stack-up analysis.
Working knowledge of basic mechanical engineering calculations.
Understanding of manufacturing methods and engineering drawing standards.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Agile or Scrum workflows is an advantage.
Exposure to PLM or PDM tools is preferred.
Background in product development stages and design validation is beneficial.
Experience with design reviews and engineering change control is a plus.
Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
