Senior Delivery Manager (Software Delivery)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to oversee software delivery projects, collaborating closely with business, project, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution from initial planning through to product launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of software delivery projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, business departments, and technical teams to synchronize priorities and schedules.
• Develop and maintain project plans, track milestones, and handle risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Engage with engineering teams to identify and resolve obstacles to maintain momentum.
• Lead Agile and Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Communicate delivery status, highlight potential risks, and document important decisions clearly to all stakeholders.
• Support activities related to release strategy, governance, operational readiness, and post-deployment support.
• Coordinate efforts across various teams or external vendors when necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in software or project delivery, program management, Agile methodologies, or product delivery leadership.
• Prior roles such as Delivery Manager, Programme Manager, Agile Delivery Lead, or Scrum Master.
• Sound knowledge of Agile frameworks, Scrum processes, and the software delivery lifecycle.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem resolution.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and identify delivery blockers.
• Experience managing project timelines, risks, dependencies, and governance structures.
• Exposure to large-scale, enterprise, or critical projects will be beneficial.
• Professional certifications like PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, PRINCE2, or CITPM preferred.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and MS Project is an advantage.
