Senior Data Analyst - Cabin Supply Chain Analytics

Overview

Tesla's Supply Chain Analytics team is searching for an experienced Data Analyst to provide specialized analytical support for the Interior and Seating (Cabin) supply chain sector. In this capacity, you will become the essential analytics collaborator for the Cabin team, gaining comprehensive insight into their commodity operations and spearheading analytics solutions critical for launching and expanding initiatives. Your role involves proficient handling of extensive supply chain datasets and developing impactful dashboards along with actionable intelligence for Supply Chain Managers and Supplier Industrialization Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated analytics liaison for the Cabin supply chain organization, building thorough domain expertise and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Create and sustain tailored analytics tools and dashboards addressing program readiness, cost monitoring, supplier performance, and portfolio health metrics.
• Lead automation efforts to replace manual reporting, increasing efficiency and scalability in current stakeholder processes.
• Work closely with Cabin SCMs, SIEs, and cross-functional partners to align analytics with strategic business objectives and deliver meaningful insights.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, mitigate risks, and assure compliance through data-centric approaches within the Cabin commodity space.
• Continuously refine existing analytics workflows to boost scalability, precision, and user satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Data Analytics or equivalent proven expertise with exceptional capability.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in data analytics focused on dashboard creation, process automation, and delivering actionable insights within complex operational environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation, with experience using Python or R for analysis and automation tasks.
• Practical knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to generate accessible and powerful dashboards.
• Deep understanding of supply chain processes and KPIs, enabling translation of business requirements into data-driven analytics.
• Track record in automating manual procedures and developing KPIs to support business goals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and multiple organizational levels.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $120,000 to $216,000, supplemented with cash bonuses, stock awards, and other benefits.
