Senior Business Analyst

Job Overview

Joining as a Senior Business Analyst, the candidate will act as a crucial link between MCDB (SQL) and DEAL (Databricks) teams, replacing the partial liaison role currently managed by the client executive sponsor and tech leads. This role requires deep expertise in SQL and a comprehensive understanding of the Databricks ecosystem with a focus on Reference Data domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the communication bridge between MCDB and DEAL teams to streamline collaboration and project alignment.
• Analyze existing SQL code to interpret logic and context, utilizing AI tools where applicable to develop detailed requirements for necessary downstream changes.
• Possess thorough knowledge of Reference Data management within Databricks platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Reference Data architects, technical leads, and domain stakeholders to drive project success.
• Exhibit excellent communication, strategic leadership, and influencing skills to promote adoption of emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including the ability to dissect and understand complex codebases.
• Strong familiarity with Databricks architecture and its Reference Data components.
• Experience working collaboratively with architects and domain experts in technical environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities with an aptitude for influencing technical teams and stakeholders.
