Senior Account Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to oversee daily accounting functions and ensure the accuracy of financial records at Aambika Foods and Beverages LLP, located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage routine accounting activities and maintain precise books of accounts.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
• Handle statutory compliance related to GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and others.
• Perform reconciliation of bank, vendor, customer accounts, and the general ledger.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Process vendor payments according to payment schedules and assist in cash flow management.
• Liaise with auditors, bankers, and government agencies to ensure compliance and clearances.
• Ensure punctual filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and additional statutory documentation.
• Verify purchase invoices, expense vouchers, and related supporting paperwork.
• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports, profitability analysis, and other management reports.
• Oversee inventory accounting while coordinating with store and production teams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and internal financial controls.
• Assist in ERP system implementation and help improve accounting processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax regulations, and accounting standards.
• Proficient in ERP software such as Tally ERP and Busy.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions like VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
