Security Personnel

Overview

This role involves supporting Store Management and colleagues in all security-related matters to ensure the safety and protection of the store's assets and people.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold Centra's core brand values such as being Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Focused.
• Safeguard the store's property and reduce the risk of theft or loss.
• Collaborate with the Store Owner/Manager to prevent stock loss and internal theft.
• Maintain a secure and safe environment for both customers and staff members.
• Take on key holding duties, including opening and closing the store premises.
• Conduct routine spot checks on waste, deliveries, closing inventories, refunds, void transactions, and employees.
• Perform investigation tasks as needed.
• Regularly observe CCTV footage to identify any suspicious activity.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in a retail security position is required.
• A valid PSA Security Guard License is mandatory.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information

This position involves a combination of floor duties and security tasks. Flexibility is essential, with substantial evening shifts anticipated.
