Security Officer (Multiple Shifts Available)

Role Overview

The organization is hiring an experienced, driven Security Officer to support a wide range of security functions and contribute to broader department efforts in a high-responsibility environment.

Key Duties

• Monitor all levels of the arena and the exterior perimeter, screen employees, guests, and vendors for building access, or complete assigned post duties.
• Watch for, document, and report theft or damage to company property, and complete preliminary incident inquiries.
• Respond to fire alarms within the facility, assess the situation, and notify the appropriate people.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of all security assignments and handle each post professionally and with sound judgment, including the Security Control Room, Guest Services desk, South Gate, and Patrol.
• Prepare incident records using basic report-writing skills in Microsoft-based tools such as Word and Excel.
• Conduct additional follow-up investigations when needed to help determine investigation outcomes.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

Skills and Experience

Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with clear verbal and written communication, excellent customer service, and solid judgment. The role also requires the ability to think quickly, process information under pressure, and handle stressful situations effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is expected, along with initiative and a proactive, assertive approach. A high school diploma is required. Prior military or law enforcement experience is considered an advantage. Candidates should have 0 to 5 years of security experience.
