Security Officer

Role Summary

As a Security Officer at a busy site, you will provide a professional and dependable security service ensuring the safety of personnel, visitors, and assets. Your duties will involve strict adherence to assignment guidelines, maintaining integrity, vigilance, and a helpful approach to your role, fostering safe and secure daily operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Prevent unauthorized site access and monitor alarm systems including fire, intruder alarms, and CCTV.
• Conduct scheduled internal and external security patrols as per instructions.
• Perform routine security equipment checks.
• Manage keys and locking/unlocking procedures per assignment details.
• Keep accurate logbooks and records reflecting assignment activities.
• Issue visitor and contractor passes per protocol.
• Offer guidance, support, and relevant information to staff, visitors, and contractors while safeguarding premises.

Essential Qualifications and Attributes

• Valid SIA licence.
• Minimum of three years of security experience.
• Legal right to work in the UK with verifiable 5-year history.
• Certified in First Aid.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
