Overview
We are seeking Security Architects who possess deep knowledge of cybersecurity, systems, and operational risk, eager to contribute to projects impacting multiple sectors including government, defense, healthcare, utilities, banking, and financial services. Candidates must already hold or meet the requirements to obtain UK Security Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Security Architect, you will join a collaborative team delivering comprehensive security solutions. You will design end-to-end secure enterprise architectures, support bids and proposals, implement solutions, and integrate security measures across various infrastructures. Working closely with stakeholders, you will develop a holistic security viewpoint to ensure system resilience and client trust. Senior architects will serve as design authorities while mentoring junior colleagues.
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience ranging from 1 to over 30 years in security consulting and secure system design delivery, with senior roles involving technical security leadership.
- Proven communication skills to advocate and justify security designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of security standards and frameworks, especially Ministry of Defence and UK government standards.
- Expertise in cloud cybersecurity architecture and principles.
- Knowledge of boundary controls, network segmentation, and access control mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Identity and Access Management, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC/PBAC), permissions governance, and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
- Familiarity with cryptographic methods and their practical applications.
- Competence in IT asset management and lifecycle tracking.
- Experience with vulnerability management processes and patching strategies.
- Understanding of SIEM technologies, logging frameworks, and supporting infrastructure.
- Insight into container and virtual machine security.
- Ability to deliver secure outcomes aligned with project requirements.
- Strong commitment to industry best practices and driving transformation in complex environments.
