Role overview
A long-term contract opportunity is open for an experienced Scrum Master or Agile Program Manager to support a major banking and financial services technology transformation in Dublin, Ireland. The role sits with a leading global financial institution and requires someone who can work in a hybrid setup.
Work authorization
Applicants must already have valid permission to work in Ireland. Priority will be given to candidates based in Ireland who are able to join quickly.
Responsibilities
- Steer Agile programmes and oversee delivery from planning through completion.
- Run Program Increment planning sessions using SAFe practices.
- Track delivery in JIRA, including epics, user stories, sprint execution, and dashboards.
- Handle governance, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project.
- Prepare executive summaries, progress reports, project documentation, and regular status updates.
- Support budgeting, capacity planning, and PMO coordination.
- Work closely with international technology teams to keep execution on track.
Required background
- Experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Program Manager in a complex delivery environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of Agile and SAFe.
- Hands-on ability with JIRA.
- Capability in programme and project management.
- Good understanding of PI planning and sprint management.
- Solid approach to risk handling and stakeholder management.
- Ability to produce executive-level reporting and governance documentation.
Preferred profile
- Scrum Master certification is preferred.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Previous exposure to banking or financial services is preferred.
- Background in large-scale technology transformation programmes is preferred.
- Experience in a large global enterprise setting is preferred.
