SAP Transportation Management Consultant

Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to join our team immediately in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on an onsite basis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive SAP TM expertise to design, configure, and implement efficient transportation management solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops to gather requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
• Translate logistics processes including planning, execution, freight costing, and settlement into SAP TM configurations.
• Architect comprehensive SAP TM solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA and external logistics systems.
• Configure and implement SAP TM functionalities such as Transportation Planning & Optimization, Freight Order Management, Carrier Selection & Tendering, Charge Management, Freight Settlement, Booking, and Scheduling.
• Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and reports (RICEFW objects).
• Collaborate with ABAP, CPI, and middleware developers to facilitate integration efforts.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of master data including locations, resources, and business partners.
• Support system testing phases including SIT and UAT and address any defects.
• Prepare detailed technical and functional documentation including design documents, configuration guides, and SOPs.
• Assist in cutover activities, go-live support, and post-implementation hypercare.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 8 to 10 years of professional experience working with SAP, including 4 to 5 years in complete end-to-end SAP TM implementations.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise with SAP TM in embedded or standalone deployment.
• Strong understanding of transportation processes encompassing planning, execution, freight costing, and settlement.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA TM is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with integration points involving SAP SD, MM, FI modules and external carrier/logistics platforms.
• Ability to analyze, write, and review functional specifications for system enhancements and interfaces.
• Possession of SAP certifications related to TM or S/4HANA Supply Chain is advantageous.
• Background in sectors such as FMCG and manufacturing industries is a plus.
• Comfortable working in multicultural and dynamic business environments.
