About the Role
Join Deloitte Shared Services India, a premier professional services firm operating across major Indian cities, committed to delivering innovative consulting services. We are searching for an experienced SAP ABAP RAP Developer to work on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Product Development for AIM/EHS applications, based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, create, and improve applications utilizing the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Extend and develop CDS Views, Business Objects, OData V4 Services, and Fiori Elements applications.
- Implement SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility while adhering to clean-core principles.
- Introduce new features and address defects in AIM/EHS related applications.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards including ATC checks, RAP contract validations, ABAP Unit tests, and quality gates.
- Facilitate integration with SAP standard services, workflows, and authorization frameworks.
- Engage in solution design discussions, code reviews, and prepare relevant technical documentation.
- Support Identity & Access Management (IAM) activities involving roles, catalogs, spaces, and pages.
- Participate in Best Practice Content related tasks, including test case development and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and Scrum teams in an Agile environment.
- Assist QA efforts including executing tests, analyzing defects, regression testing, and continuous quality enhancement.
- Provide backup support for Scrum Master duties such as sprint ceremonies, backlog management, and coordination when required.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in ABAP development.
- Hands-on experience with RAP including both Managed and Unmanaged scenarios.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Elements and OData V4.
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Good understanding of authorization concepts and business role management.
- Familiarity with Git-based development workflows and Agile delivery methodologies.
Preferred Expertise
- Knowledge of Flexible Workflow configurations.
- Experience with Application Jobs and Background Processing.
- Familiarity with SAP Build Process Automation.
- Exposure to SAP AI / Joule integrations.
- Hands-on experience in IAM and Best Practice Content operations.
- Involvement in QA processes and Agile Scrum practices.
Additional Advantages
- Exposure to EHS, Audit & Inspection Management (AIM), or enterprise product development domains.
- Experience in performance tuning, ATC compliance, and development standards in Public Cloud.
- Capability to contribute effectively across Development, QA, and Agile delivery activities.

Educational qualification: B.Tech or B.E. in any specialization.
