About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and goal-oriented Sales Manager to boost the sales of building material products. The position is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and demands hands-on experience in field sales, dealer and distributor interaction, specifically within the building materials or construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business prospects through engagement with builders, contractors, architects, dealers, and distributors.
Promote and sell a range of building material products including AAC Blocks, Wall Putty, Tile Adhesives, Waterproofing Products, Cement, and TMT Steel, among others.
Build and sustain strong customer relationships through regular interactions.
Execute frequent market visits to explore potential clients and opportunities.
Meet or exceed set monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Prepare pricing quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize sales agreements effectively.
Follow up on payment collections, ensuring timeliness.
Keep track of competitor activities and market evolutions.
Provide daily sales reports and share customer feedback with the management.

Candidate Profile

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
In-depth knowledge of the construction and building materials market.
Capability to establish and expand dealer and distributor networks.
Self-driven with a strong focus on achieving targets.
Basic proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel and Word.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively as part of job requirements.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in any field is mandatory; an MBA in Marketing is preferred.
Professional experience spanning 1 to 5 years within building material, construction, paints, cement, steel, hardware, tiles, sanitary ware, or related sectors.
Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license is required.
