It provides access to over 10,000 curated venues and 5,000 catering partners with instant pricing and booking in a single cart. Trusted by global companies such as Google, Coca-Cola, and Microsoft, Naboo is rapidly expanding its successful European presence into North America, using Montreal as the expansion hub.

Role Overview

As the inaugural Sales Development Representative for North America, you will pioneer Naboo's outbound sales initiatives across U.S. and Canadian markets. Reporting to the SDR Team Lead, your core objective is to generate qualified sales opportunities through strategic outreach to Mid-Market and Enterprise clients. You will promote a product with broad market appeal, facilitating rewarding and impactful sales interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-channel outbound prospecting campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn, creative touchpoints) targeting mid- to large-scale organizations in North America.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Naboo’s platform, customer profiles including Office Managers, HR Leaders, Executive Assistants, and Chiefs of Staff, and the corporate event industry landscape.
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations, applying qualification standards to identify promising prospects to hand over to Account Executives.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to create focused campaigns, share market insights, and fine-tune messaging tailored for the North American audience.
  • Develop and refine SDR processes and outreach sequences, establishing a scalable playbook as the team's pioneering member in North America.
  • Support team growth by documenting best practices and coaching subsequent SDR hires.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent or near-native English skills capable of engaging senior and executive-level decision makers throughout the US and Canada.
  • Between 1 to 2 years of sales development experience in SaaS or B2B outbound environments, with a proven ability to secure meetings and surpass targets.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding outbound sales metrics like pipeline creation and booked meetings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently and consultatively.
  • A driven, resilient hunter mentality enthusiastic about penetrating new markets.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, proficient with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce and sales engagement platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Apollo, or similar.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • French language proficiency is advantageous given the Montreal office location but is not essential.
  • Experience selling to HR, Office Management, or Events roles.
  • Familiarity with the corporate event or hospitality sectors.
  • Background in early-stage startups or rapidly scaling companies.
  • Multilingual capabilities are considered a plus.

Why Join Naboo?

  • Unique product positioning: A free-to-use platform applicable across all industries, facilitating smoother outreach and enriching sales conversations.
  • Expansive growth trajectory: Join a well-funded Series B company ($70M raised) entering the largest corporate events market globally.
  • Inclusive and dynamic culture: Work within a diverse, international team of over 230 colleagues across major European cities and Montreal, sharing a passion for innovating corporate event management.

Employee Benefits

  • Modern office space centrally located in Montreal.
  • Flexible hybrid work schedule: Four days onsite plus one remote weekly after probation.
  • Monthly transportation allowance up to $200.
  • Complete health insurance via Canada Life.
  • ClassPass membership for wellness and fitness benefits.
  • Team events that embody and celebrate the company culture.
  • Opportunities for rapid professional advancement and skill development within a scaling sales team.
  • A strategic role offering direct influence on North America's go-to-market plans from the outset.

Hiring Process

  • Initial 30-minute screening focusing on culture fit and motivation.
  • 45-minute interview with the Hiring Manager exploring experience and sales methodology.
  • 45-minute role play and case study assessing prospecting and qualification skills.
  • Final 30-minute meeting with the team to align on mutual expectations.
